steward  /ˈst(y)o͞oərd/ (noun):
one employed in a large household or estate to manage the provision and distribution of resources.

1 Peter 4:10 says, "As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace." At GracePointe, we call our volunteers "stewards." As members within the house of God, it is our joy to use our gifts, resources, and time to invite others into the miraculous story of redemption. We see service to our community and the nations as a great privilege, stewarding God's grace to others through our words, actions, and decisions. Volunteers sign-up and sometimes show-up, but stewards step-in to the kingdom and speak-out about grace.

To become a steward, the process is three-fold:
1. Say yes - Jesus has changed our lives and we can't wait to invite others into the story.
2. Support - Our stewards aren't isolated, they are a part of a community of Christ-followers who want to see one another grow and flourish. When you sign up to be a steward, we'll make sure you have the support you need to serve.
3.  Steward - We've been on the inside, we know what it means to be valued and loved by God. Now it's our turn to value and love. The Kingdom of Heaven is open to everyone and it's our honor to welcome others into it.
