Chris Watson, formerly of Macon, GA is the Lead Pastor of GracePointe Church. Chris is a graduate of Mercer University. He and his wife Trish, are both graduates of Dallas Theological Seminary. They have three sons, Caleb, Connor and Cameron. Chris spent 15 years in youth ministry serving churches in Alabama and Georgia and leading in several parachurch organizations before coming to GracePointe in December of 2004. He is a speaker and author. Chris and Trish desire to glorify Christ in all things.

Chris Sheffield was born and raised in Coffee County. He began serving at GracePointe as our Pastor to Students in August of 2017 and transitioned to the role of Associate Pastor in December of 2021. Chris has served in ministry for over 13 years as a student pastor, campus pastor and now as an associate pastor. He is a graduate of Brewton-Parker College with a degree in Christian Studies. Chris and his wife Courtney were married in 2006 and they have six beautiful daughters Everly, Isla, Willa, Rowan, Cecelia and Jackie. Chris has a passion to see our church impact our community with the light of the Gospel.

Ricky Adams joined the GracePointe staff as the Worship Pastor in March of 2023. He was raised in South Florida, and met his wife in Joplin, Missouri while attending Ozark Christian College. Together, they have 3 children: Adalynn, Boston, and Bethany. Ricky has been involved in Worship ministry for over 20 years, serving as a full-time Worship Pastor for the last 7 years; in North Carolina, and now here in Douglas. His ultimate desire in worship is to assist people in entering the presence of God, and to worship our Savior together.

Clay a native Texan, joined the pastoral staff in April 2018, as Recovery Pastor.  The Rohde family began attending GracePointe in 2013.   He and his wife DeShawna of 27 years, graduated from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. They have served in ministry together for over 18  years prior to GracePointe; serving churches in Texas, Florida, & Georgia.  Clay has lead ministries as; associate pastor, youth pastor, children pastor, & media pastor.  Clay and DeShawna have two adult children, Landon and Kiley,  and 1 teenager,  Carson.  Clay’s desire is to see people live their lives in freedom, from their hurts, hang-ups & habits, through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Henry Williams, born and raised in Chester, GA, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Studies from Truett McConnell University. He began serving at GracePointe Church in November of 2022. He previously worked on staff at Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters where he met his wife, Courtney. They got married in 2021 and adopted Max, a flat coated retriever, shortly after moving to Douglas. Henry and Courtney have two sons named Harvey and Solomon. Henry has a heart for students and hopes to see them be deeply impacted by the gospel.

Justin leads our Middle School Ministry services on Sundays and assists with leading our Student Ministries. He was born and raised in Nicholls where he still lives on his family's farm. He is a graduate of ABAC and of Temple Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters of Arts in Ministry. Justin and his wife, Tabitha, were married in 2022 and have been leading youth ministries together since. He has a passion for discipleship and equipping students to be a light in the world.

Wyatt Leads our children's and college ministries at GracePointe. He was born and raised in Broxton, GA, and has been a devoted member of GracePointe Church since 2011. Having grown up in the ministry, Wyatt has developed a deep passion for Christ and a strong desire to teach kids about how incredible The Gospel is. Wyatt is a Computer Science Graduate from Valdosta State University. Wyatt met his wife, Emma, at college and they got married in 2025. His heart for serving others and sharing the love of Jesus drives his involvement in both the church and the community, where he seeks to impact lives for Christ.

Mom, wife, and follower of Christ. Ashley is married to Austin Burke and they have a 3 year old little boy named Asher and just added a new daughter named Adaline. She was baptized here at GracePointe and became a member in 2018. Since then, she has been steadily growing in her faith and has built a strong relationship with Jesus. She serves as a volunteer in our kids ministry. Ashley enjoys spending time with family as well as reading and traveling. She is also very passionate about holistic wellness. Some of her greatest assets as a member of our team is that she is always willing to offer a helping hand, she's a great listener and she loves people. One goal that she has adopted based on something Pastor Chris says is that every day she tries to clear the path for the pastoral staff which allows them to serve Christ and His Church in their respective ministries with fewer obstacles.

Lavada is our Office Administrator. She has been married to Shawn for 34 yrs. They have 2 adult children, Cody (married to Jess) & Hannah.  She loves spending time with her 3 grand daughters (Sadie, Hadley and Ivy) that are so precious. She has worked in several capacities at GracePointe over the last 12 yrs. Being a welcoming face is something she feels very passionate about because first impressions can be a deciding factor in whether a person returns to experience more of what God has for him/her! She strives to make GracePointe feel welcoming and inviting to all of our guests.

Devis serves as the creative mind behind GracePointe’s social media, where she uses her gifts and passion to share the Gospel in unique and exciting ways. With a knack for making faith accessible and fun, she’s on a mission to connect people to God’s love through every post and story. Devis is married to Joey Burnam, and they’re raising four amazing kids: Ansleigh, Aidan, Alivia, and Abbott.
